- Open a web browser and type in the URL: http://192.168.0.1
- Enter the administrator password. The default password is “admin”.

2. Enter theAdmin password into the Username and Password fields and click Login
3. Click on the Wireless tab at the top of the page
4. Click on the Security sub-tab
5. Select WPA-Personal from the Mode drop-down menu
6. Enter a strongPassphrase into the Passphrase field (at least 8 characters)
7. Click Apply
Enter the administrator password. The default password is “admin”.
To set a password on your Arris Surf board, you’ll need to enter the administrator password. The default password is “admin”. Once you’re logged in, you can change the password to something more secure.
Select the “Home Network” tab.
1. Log in to the administrator account for your Arris Surf board. The default address is “192.168.100.1.” Enter this into your web browser’s address bar and press “Enter.” If this is the first time you have logged in, use the default username and password, which are both “admin.”
2. Click on the “Home Network” tab at the top of the page.
3. Click on the “Wireless” link in the left sidebar.
4. Scroll down to the “Wireless Security Mode” section and select “WPA-Personal” from the drop-down menu.
5. Type a password into the “Pre-Shared Key” field. This is the password that you will use to connect wirelessly to your Arris Surf board. Make sure that it is something that you will remember but that is also difficult for someone else to guess.
6. Click on the “Apply” button at the bottom of the page to save your changes
Select the “Wireless” tab.
Click the “Wireless” tab in the top row of options. This will take you to the wireless settings page for your router.
Select the “Security” tab.
Click on the “Security” tab in the top menu. This will open the security settings page.
Select the “WPA/WPA2-PSK” option.
In the Wireless Security section of the page, select the “WPA/WPA2-PSK” option. This is the setting that will enable you to set a password for your wireless network.
Pre-Shared Key – This is the password you’ll use to access the Surf Board.
Once you have chosen your password, click the “Apply” button at the bottom of the page. Your new password will be applied to your Arris Surf Board.
